Christina's path to becoming a designer was as direct and indirect as they come. When she was only a few years old, she announced to her parents that she never wanted to step into the shoes of her architect father. However, the die was cast.
It was fate that brought Christina and Design together. Despite a highly successful career in corporate finance (working for Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Rothschild et al), she always stayed close to spatial, product and graphic design. In fact, she went to the extreme of moving house 15 times since school, in order to be able to apply her design skills to create another beautiful, timeless yet practical home. Her key philosophies that have defined her company, Christina Munro Design, from the start being:
When we design, we take our design cue from stunning objects, furniture, art or accessories. the highest compliment we can receive is having our interior designs, whether in private residences or elsewhere, be in harmony with the art that surrounds it.
